Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project is a research and management organization that focuses on recovering the Kiwikiu. We study the speciesʻ productivity and survival as well as identify the most limiting factors for the current population. In addition to bird studies, we are also restoring native forests and controlling invasive species.
We do not lead birding tours, but we can provide some suggestions on where to go or companies to contact.
